OpenAI Dots are ChatGPT agents that keep working toward your goals around the clock on their own cloud computer, with 4,000+ connectable apps and a computer you can open to inspect their work. The first dot is included in Pro and Business Premium. Conditional because this is a rolling launch limited to eligible markets, extra dots are only promised and unpriced, and extended limits cover just the first month. Right for Pro and Business Premium subscribers who want a persistent agent; we have not tested it.
OpenAI says dots are powered by GPT-6 Astra and work towards your goals around the clock on their own cloud computer and browser.

- Sites that need a login: dots can use saved passwords for supported websites without exposing them to the model
- Staying in control: auto-review checks account-affecting actions against your instructions and Custom Rules, and Activity View shows background work so you can redirect a dot
Nicht geeignet für
- Anyone outside the launch group: it rolls out to Pro and Business Premium users in eligible markets, and the ChatGPT pricing page we read shows the dot only as a Pro feature among individual plans
- Budgeting for more than one dot: OpenAI says adding dots comes in the future and publishes no price for it, and extended limits cover only the first month
- Production enterprise rollout today: Enterprise, Edu and Healthcare get a beta that a workspace admin must enable, and specialist dots are a preview
- Cost-free Codex or ChatGPT Work delegation: tasks a dot starts or manages there count toward your usage limits as usual
