Privacy Policy

What personal data this site collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated July 19, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Neomanex collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum the site needs to work: a newsletter you choose to join, privacy-conscious analytics, and an optional chat on our contact page.

Who is responsible for your data

Neomanex is the data controller for this website. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, email privacy@neomanex.com.

Neomanex Limited, 51 Bracken Rd, Sandyford, Dublin, D18 CV48, Ireland.

What we collect and why

We collect personal data in three situations, and only for the purpose described in each.

Newsletter signups

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address, the form or page you subscribed from, and the date and time. We store this in our own database and send it to Resend, our email delivery provider, which stores it as a contact so we can send you the newsletter. Signup is single opt-in: you are added as soon as you submit the form, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We also keep a consent record (the time you subscribed, the version of this notice shown to you, and your IP address) as evidence that you agreed.

Analytics and cookies

We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. We use NeoAnalytics, our own first-party, self-hosted analytics (ingest.prod.neomanex.com), to count page views and understand general behaviour. We also use PostHog, a product-analytics service hosted in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com), which sets cookies and records session and event data. The Cookies section below lists the specific cookies involved.

Chat on our contact page

Our contact page embeds a chat widget provided by Gnosari (app.gnosari.com). If you send a message through that chat, the message and anything you include in it are sent to Gnosari to deliver the conversation. You do not have to use the chat to reach us: you can email us instead.

Cookies

By default the site sets only functional cookies. We do not show a cookie banner at this time; this policy is where we disclose what is set.

  • i18n_redirected: remembers your language choice so the site loads in the right language.
  • Color mode: remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.
  • PostHog and analytics cookies: set by PostHog to measure product usage and sessions.

How we use your data

We use the data above for these limited purposes:

  • To send you the newsletter you asked for, and only that.
  • To measure and improve how the website performs.
  • To answer you when you start a chat or otherwise contact us.
  • To keep a record that you consented, and to meet our legal obligations.

Our legal basis

We rely on your consent to send you the newsletter and to set analytics and PostHog cookies. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site for first-party, aggregate analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that operate the site, each acting on our instructions:

  • Resend: email delivery. Stores your email as a contact and sends the newsletter. Located in the United States.
  • PostHog: product analytics. Processes analytics, session, and event data. Hosted in the European Union.
  • Gnosari: chat. Receives the messages you send through the chat widget on our contact page.
  • Google Cloud: hosting. Runs the infrastructure that this website and its data sit on.

International data transfers

Most of our providers are in the European Union. Resend, our email delivery provider, is in the United States, so subscribing to the newsletter involves transferring your email address there. Where data leaves the EU, we rely on the safeguards required by data protection law.

How long we keep it

  • Newsletter: we keep your email and consent record for as long as you stay subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending and remove or suppress your contact.
  • Analytics: analytics data is retained by our analytics tools for their standard retention periods.
  • Chat: chat messages are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access: ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Portability: ask for your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to processing we base on our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before you withdrew it.
  • Complain: lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@neomanex.com. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, without contacting us first.

How we protect your data

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the data we hold safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies to you.
