Cursor has collapsed its pricing from a six-tier ladder into four cleaner plans, dropping the entry-level paid tier to $16/mo (annual) while baking Grok model access into every paid subscription. The old Pro+ ($60/mo) and Ultra ($200/mo) tiers are gone — absorbed into a single Individual plan with on-demand billing replacing subscription gates.

What happened

Cursor's pricing page(opens in new tab) now shows four plans where six stood before: Hobby (free), Individual at $16/mo billed annually, Teams at $32/user/mo, and Enterprise at custom pricing. The old Pro tier — previously $20/mo on monthly billing — has been rebranded and repriced as Individual. Pro+ at $60/mo and Ultra at $200/mo have been eliminated; their pooled usage and advanced features now flow through on-demand billing inside Individual rather than requiring separate subscriptions.

Individual includes "generous limits for Grok & Composer" — the first visible integration of SpaceXAI models since SpaceX acquired Cursor for $60 billion in late June. Frontier model access (Claude, GPT-5.6, Gemini), MCP servers, skills, hooks, cloud agents, and Bugbot on usage-based billing all carry over from the old Pro tier.
