GPT-6 Sol is the lower-priced companion to GPT-6 Astra and succeeds GPT-5.6 Sol at half its per-token rate, with a 1.05M-token context and 128K output. Conditional because every published score is OpenAI's own and prompts over 272K input tokens bill at higher rates. GPT-5.6 Sol stays on the price list with no deprecation notice, so nothing forces a migration. Right for teams routing hard coding and agent work to OpenAI.
